Inspired by nature and the ocean that bring her calm and joy, Nadine is an acrylic artist using texture to convey movement, energy and emotion with brush and palette knife. “I love being on the beach, breathing in the healing and invigorating air, watching the warm sun dancing on the surface of the sea, and listening to the reassuring ebb and flow of waves against the shore.” Her true love of seascapes began with calm, serene Caribbean seas. This evolved through a full series of movement and stormy seas, with her currently delving into deep and reflective nocturnes. Between landscapes and seascapes, she paints vibrant, flowing and intuitive abstract art…creations of pure fun and joy expressed in colour.
Nadine has always had a passion for collecting art and began painting in 2016, inspired by two of her closest friends who are also artists. Making her first art show debut in 2018, with many since, Nadine is a full time artist residing in Tsawwassen, BC. She creates based on her experiences of living in the prairies, Caribbean and Pacific Northwest, as well as her travels throughout the world.
In addition to selling original paintings, Nadine works with a local photographer to create Giclee canvas prints, with customized sizes to suit your space. Nadine embellishes the canvas print with paint to personalize and maintain the vibrancy of colour and intention, and a top-coat is added to protect. She has also been commissioned for several paintings over the years ranging from Hawaiian seascapes to North American mountain ranges. She hopes you enjoy these creations as much as she has enjoyed bringing their energy to life.
In Tsawwassen, BC, Nadine is a member of the South Delta Artist Guild, and her art is exhibited at Gallery 1710. She is currently the artist in residence at L’Aromas Bakehouse and participates in the spring and fall Sublime Art Show at Town Centre Mall. Please see the Exhibitions page for more details.
